John has grown up in Harbor Country...before it was called Harbor Country.  His family roots in this area go back to the 1930's and while only in his early 40's, John is very involved in the real estate community and only practices in areas he knows well.  In Grand Beach alone, John or his Mom have listed or sold (or both) 88% of all home sales in the last year.  Hopefully that tells you he knows the area, the people and the market.  In fact, many sales never go into the MLS as John knows families looking to trade up or be closer to the lake...we call it an "in-house" deal...and our sellers love it.  Being "in the know" is a critical part of what John does.

Growing up in Grand Beach as the son of noted real estate matriarch Karen Larkin-Johnson, she taught John to work hard, be honest and to ensure that each party walks away from a transaction knowing they were treated fairly and received great service.  Many people say "you're just like your Mother" and to John, that's a great complement.  John has worked in the Real Estate industry in Harbor Country for over 15 years and knows how to get things done.  He is the Secretary of the Grand Beach Social Club and is involved in many local charities and causes.  John also is quite knowledgeable about about local craftsmen and can provide information that can be a life saver.

He lives in the area with his wife Stacey and 4 young children.
